This month i have been trying to change up my makeup routine and use products i don't use enough. Today i am writing about my February makeup favorites.
First product is the Clinique touch base for eyes. This has been a staple in my makeup routine since i got it about two months ago. I use it everyday and it makes my eyes look brighter and more awake. It essentially is a creamy consistency used to cover any redness or veins in the eyelid, it also brightens my eye area and is a amazing base for any eye shadow. I love this product and i will definitely re buy this when i run out as it does make a difference to my look.
rrp:£12
Next is my favorite lip product, the 1000 kisses lip tints. I've got two of the six available colors 'Carry on cherry' and 'Boundless sunset' A deep cherry pink color and a bright orange one. These aren't drying or sheer at all like i thought they would be. They are very pigmented and moisturizing on the lips. The balm in very smooth, thin, and moisturizing. The color lasts for a very long time and doesn't wear off through out the day.
rrp:£5.99
For face products i have just been using a concealer, bronzer and a bit of Benefits Hervana blush for a beautiful natural look. For me this is the perfect blush because i can get red undertones in my skin throughout the day and blusher can look funny on me, however this one just gives a small natural flush of color to the cheeks and lasts all day. The benefit boxed powders are very popular and i think this is one of the nicest. They are pricey however i think Hervana is worth it.
rrp:£23.50
My last favorite of the month is the NYC smooth skin bronzer in 'sunny' this is another drugstore product that is raved about. I got this bronzer just after Christmas to start contouring with. It's a matte bronzer that is not orange at all! I carry it in my bag throughout the day to top up as its easy to blend and gives the skin a natural look, and defines your cheekbones amazingly. This is my favorite bronzer i own and prefer it over my higher end bronzers.

Review: Primark Jelly shoes

My first fashion review is on the Primark jelly shoes. We had a brief influx of these vintage styled jellies that we all had as kids last summer, however we are seeing a lot more hitting the high street in recent week.

These shoes are a must have summer essential for whatever your plans are; a festival a girls holiday or a family holiday to Florida these shoes will keep your feet stylish and cool with the summer heat. I've been testing these little beauties out walking around the house and surprisingly they haven't rubbed at all. It is a soft plastic with a loose fitting over the top of your foot with an adjustable buckle. Primark have always catered for the basic essentials and I feel these shoes are a classic Primark purchase that would be a shame to miss. These shoes are priced at £4!!

This is a bargain especially as Topshop are selling jellies for £20 and Riverisland for £18. These shoes can be worn with literally anything from a bikini to a dress to leggings and a cami as they come in five different colours.
I have a slight obsession with shoes and one pair of these simply was not enough I have bought the white and black and these will go with all outfits and can even be worn early spring when the rain finally stops falling.
They also come in a dark glittery grey,

a silver glitter and a neon pink all of
which will look amazing on a white sandy
beach ( or even a beach in maga.)

Review: Rimmel wake me up collection.

The Rimmel wake me up products has been spoken about and raved loads. The foundation was the first product from the wake me up range to come out, they also do a matching concealer and cream enhancers. Rimmel is one of my favorite drug store brands and i love most of their products.
I have been trying out all these products for about 5 weeks+ so i can give you as much detail and opinion as possible. None of these products have made me breakout at all and i love the fresh dewy look this range is described. I have combination skin, i can get very dry in the winter however can be oily during the summer. The packaging is very pretty and doesn't look cheap at all. They all have matching orange lids and look cute as a collection.
I first got the foundation as i heard a lot of people talking about it, i am in the shade 100 ivory and it matches me really well. The consistency of the foundation isn't too thin and watery or thick and heavy however gives a medium coverage that can be built up if you wish. It comes with a pump attached making it easy to apply and use. I pump a good amount onto the back of my hand and use my Real techniques expert face brush to buff it in. It has Anti-fatigue effect+Radiant glow particles which gives you a dewy finish and a healthy glow. i think this foundation would be good for people with dry-normal skin as it moisturizes and gives you a glow and natural finish. However i don't think this would be a good choice for someone with oily skin as it could look a bit shiny and wouldn't look as good as a foundation with a matte finish.
rrp:£8.99
The concealer is my current everyday concealer, i have shade 10 ivory the lightest shade they do. I don't feel they have a very wide range of shades for the concealer however my shade matches me perfectly. The concealer claims to have the same effects and particles as the foundation however i feel you could use this concealer for all skin types as its not as dewy as the foundation. The concealer has a dhofar applicator and is very easy to apply, its again a medium buildable coverage and looks very natural on the skin. A must have all round standard concealer.
rrp:£5.49

The final pieces of the collection are the instant radiance shimmer touch creams. These are basically a light liquid cream consistency that comes in two shades: a pink colour and a shell brown. when blended they are just a light slightly coloured glitter. I use these when i am in a rush as they are quicker and easier to use than a powder. i wasn't sure how to apply them at first as i have never had a product like them. I now squeeze a tiny amount onto my finger and blend in onto the apples of my cheeks or on my cheekbone using my fingers. Like the rest of the line, they give a natural glow to the skin and i feel would be good for all skin types.
